Fire at the Original Pancake House Today

The Original Pancake House, located at 8395 East 116th Street in Fishers, was damaged by a kitchen fire this afternoon.
The restaurant was closed at the time of the fire, which was reported shortly after 2pm. Only 4 employees were inside at the time, and they escaped safely.
The Fishers Fire Department contained the fire quickly, and had final extinguishment in under 30 minutes. Fire damage was contained to the kitchen area.
No dollar loss estimate has been made at this time. The cause remains under investigation, but appears to be unintentional.
The management of the restaurant plans to reopen as soon as possible.
