  • Just what we need a bigger Town Hall

This mornings “The Fishers Star” lead article is about Fishers expanding the municipal complex. Of course this is not going to be cheap, nothing the Town Council does is cheap. Just look at the current Town Hall, 28,000 square feet of space but only 11,000 is usable office space. Now they are going to add another 18,945 square feet, I wonder how much of that is going to be usable space. I started to get a feel for it when [...]

  • An open letter to Scott Faultless –

Dear Scott Today is the 4th of July, to many it’s just a day off, but to some it is the anniversary of a very important document and the birth of a nation. Why am I telling you this, because you seem to have forgotten about our nation? You seem to want to rule, just as King George did, for the benefit of yourself and the government and not for the people. You don’t care what people want you only [...]

  • A short tale of two cities.

While Fisher’s and Noblesville’s are near each other, but there is a world of difference between them. Fishers wants to throw out all the businesses and people who live in the downtown? The real reason, they don’t want to pay for repair of sewers, streets, they want a developer to pay for all of it, they don’t want to improve the area, they want a developer to increase the value to get more tax dollars. Now on the other hand [...]

  • Regional airport eyed (Fishers)

The Fishers Town Council will spend $150,000 on a study to determine if a new airport in southern Madison County could replace its airfield and Anderson Municipal Airport. “The potential for economic development for the city of Anderson would be greatly enhanced by a state-of-the-art airport facility,” Anderson Mayor Kevin S. Smith said in a written statement. – IndyStar (5/16) If Anderson wants this airport so badly, then why are we the ones spending $150,000 on a study??? I live [...]

  • Does the Cost of Weddings have to been expensive?

As a graduate of Ball State University, and a member of the Fishers, Indiana region, I like to practice my skills on local businesses. Tonight, I am writing about an interview I had with Ice rarden of Dancing the Night Away. I first learned of Dancing the Night Away when I stubbled across an ad that was newly listed in Indy Magizine. I then saw reviews posted on atGeist and atFishers so I called up this guy they called Ice [...]

  • Fishers wastes Taxpayers money again.

The Town of Fishers has hired the attorney firm of Barnes and Thornburg to stop the State Senate bill proposals that could make forced annexation in this state more fair to its citizens. While lobbyists are not uncommon, one must wonder if the citizens of Fishers expect their tax dollars to be used in this way. This is an example of the kind of free, unchecked spending that happens with a municaplity’s tax dollars. Is it any wonder why the [...]

  • Darwin Award Winners

It’s that time again and the Darwin Awards are finally out, the annual honor given to the people who did the gene pool the biggest service by killing themselves in the most extraordinarily stupid way. Last year’s winner was the fellow who was killed by a Coke machine, which toppled over on top of him as he was attempting to tip a free soda out. This year’s winner was a real rocket scientist…HONESTLY! Read on…and remember that each and every [...]
