  • Fishers Police Department Announces 2011 Teen Academy

    The Fishers Police Department is teaming up with the Fishers YMCA Teen Center to reach out to the teens of Fishers. The 11th annual Fishers Police Department Teen Academy will be held at the YMCA Teen Center July 18th through July 22nd 2011. The academy is one week of law enforcement type training that will allow teens ages 13-17 to better understand how law enforcement works.     The Fishers Police Department arrested two men early this morning after an alert resident in the Bristols sub-division (126th and Brooks School Road) called police.  Officers were called to the 12100 block of Raiders Boulevard at approximately 1:30 am in reference to two men possibly breaking into vehicles.     The Fishers Police Department arrested Stanley Hardgraves this morning after officers responded to a theft in progress call in the 8900 block of Glass Chimney Lane in Fishers.   Hardgraves initially ran from police, but was quickly taken into custody.  He is charged with Theft, Resisting Law Enforcement and Unauthorized Entry of a Motor Vehicle.     Noblesville resident arrested for child exploitation

    The Hamilton County Metro ICAC Task Force arrested Royce D. Moody on Wednesday, September 5, 2006 and charged him with multiple counts of child exploitation (possession of child pornography). The arrest was a result of a search warrant issued for Moody’s residence. The search warrant was issued as a result of information developed by the Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force as well as information developed by the Indiana State Police and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).     The Fishers Police Department is investigating a fatality accident that occurred this morning at approximately 10:00am. (Saturday, September 01, 2007) The crash occurred in the southbound lanes of Interstate 69 near the 6 mile marker.   • Fishers Police Stepping Up Patrols

    In conjunction with approximately 250 state and local law enforcement agencies the Fishers Police Department will participate in an Impaired Driving Crackdown which will extend through the Labor Day holiday. The “Drunk Driving. Over the Limit. Under Arrest” statewide enforcement effort will go into effect August 17 and will conclude September 9. Law enforcement agencies throughout the state will use roving saturation patrols and sobriety checkpoints to detect impaired drivers.     Fire at the Original Pancake House Today

    The Original Pancake House, located at 8395 East 116th Street in Fishers, was damaged by a kitchen fire this afternoon. The restaurant was closed at the time of the fire, which was reported shortly after 2pm. Only 4 employees were inside at the time, and they escaped safely. The Fishers Fire Department contained the fire quickly, and had final extinguishment in under 30 minutes. Fire damage was contained to the kitchen area.     The Fishers Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a fire at the Holiday Inn, located at 9780 North by Northeast boulevard, Saturday evening at approximately 8:45 pm. The fire began in a trash can behind the hotel, which burned through an adjacent window and filled the hotel and the attached restaurant, Bennigan’s, with smoke.     The Fishers Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred at a Fireworks store, 8888 Fitness Lane in Fishers. The robbery occurred at approximately 8:50 pm on Saturday, July 7, 2007. The store manager reported that two men entered the store. One of the men displayed a handgun and ordered everyone in the store to lie on the floor. The man demanded money from the cash register.
